It's only fitting that this book should begin with the quote above. It is taken from "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin. And although I've read many books, papers, and articles; listened to lectures and viewed documentaries on the topic of our inherently fraudulent "monetary system," I have found no single resource better than Mr. Griffin's excellent book. As such, he has been extensively quoted throughout the following eight chapters. Please keep in mind, what you're about to read only scratches the surface. For a more thorough account of the Federal Reserve System (and all its ills) please purchase and read The Creature from Jekyll Island.
Introduction
Commodity money, receipt money, fractional money, fiat money, and DEBT MONEY; which is our "monetary system" based on and who benefits? Inflation, deflation, booms, busts, depressions and recessions; what causes them and who benefits?
